Turning Inconsistent Marketing Materials Into a Cohesive Visual System
About the Client
A chain of 5 casual dining restaurants across Colombo specialising in Sri Lankan and South Asian fusion cuisine. Despite strong food quality and loyal customers, the group’s marketing materials menus, social media posts, in store signage, and delivery platform listings had been created by different freelancers over several years, resulting in a visually inconsistent and unprofessional overall presentation.
The Key Challenge
The fragmented design history meant that no two pieces of marketing material looked like they belonged to the same brand, undermining the premium positioning the restaurant group was trying to establish.
- Menus, social posts, and signage all used different fonts, colours, and visual styles
- Low resolution logo files being stretched and distorted across different applications
- No design templates, meaning every new piece of marketing material started from scratch
- Inconsistent presentation across delivery platforms compared to in-store branding

Result
The visual consistency rollout had a measurable impact on both customer perception and the restaurant group’s marketing efficiency.
